Newly annexed residents experiencing ballot problems | News

(WMC-TV) - Collierville officials have asked some of the town's residents to wait a bit before they take part in early voting.

According to town officials, many people who live in recently annexed areas aren't seeing the municipal school referendum on their ballots.

If that happens to you, here's some advice from Collierville leaders:

If you attempt to vote, and the ordinances regarding municipal school districts do not appear on the ballot, immediately notify a polling official before casting or completing your ballot.

Accurate maps and other information have been sent to early voting locations and the county is trying to fix the problem, a Collierville representative said.
